Message After five days in hot sun and then driving all night and only a couple of hours of sleep each night, we had a complete brain fade forgot that we were still on street gas. Typically we would still have some racegas in the car, but the previous night's drive was 360+ miles and emptied out the tank.

As for the setup, I have all the data as we ran the car at the Streets of Willows and Buttonwillow with the setup and the EGT's were better than with the stock timing. I had consulted with Mike K. on the setup and he said that our EGT's would come down.

At our first 2 track we ran 15 deg BTDC and had coolant temps in the low 200's and EGT's in the 880 deg C range consistantly. When we bumped the timing, we got the expected lower end response and the coolant temps were the same, but the EGT's dropped by 80 deg C.

No excuses, but we just screwed up and were not thinking straight at the time.

Btw, we did some pre race testing on 91 Octane and stock timing and was able to boost to 20 PSI with 91 Octane with the Aquamist on.
